Drones have become an important tool in modern law enforcement, helping us respond more safely and effectively in our community.

We use this technology during burglary alarm calls to check rooftops, conduct interior searches when properties have been tampered with, and assist in locating suspects. By utilizing drones, we can gather critical information quickly while reducing potential risks to both officers and residents.

Our goal is to continue using innovative technology to enhance public safety, strengthen our response capabilities, and help keep our community safe.

During a recent traffic stop involving a reckless driver, our Gang Unit officers recovered a firearm from the vehicle.

Incidents like this highlight the importance of proactive policing and the role it plays in keeping our neighborhoods safe. What may begin as a traffic violation can quickly lead to the discovery of more serious concerns, including illegal weapons.

We remain committed to addressing reckless driving and preventing violence before it occurs. Every enforcement action is rooted in our mission to protect the community, reduce crime, and ensure a safe environment for residents, families, and visitors.

We encourage our community to report suspicious activity. Working together, we can continue to make a positive impact and keep our city safe.
