This is Snow.

Snow was lost for two weeks and her family was very sad.

Snow found her way to a kind family who secured her and reached out to Furbabies for a chip scan.

Snow had a chip and was reunited with her excited family because the owner info was correct and up to date.

This reunion could only happen because the owner CHIPPED the sweet girl and the FINDERS secured her so she could get help.

This is how we save animals :) Chip your pets. Keep your info up to date with the chip company. If you see a loose pet, secure it and reach out for help.

Happy Tails! ELEVEN dogs in total were able to find their loving homes Saturday. Between Lancaster Animal Shelter and our partner Friends of Glenn Heights Animal Shelter so many dogs found their furever after! ❤️🦴

Happy Tails! The Lancaster Animal Shelter attended Pawtoberfest in Richardson, Texas on Saturday and found loving homes for NINE dogs. Zoinks! I didn’t see you there. Now that you are here though what are you looking for? Ohhh a doggo? Well, I am a doggo. Let me tell you about myself. The names shaggy. I came in with my brother, and best bud, Scooby. I am about five months old, and we were abandoned at a trailer park. I am slowly learning how to play with toys, I walk on a leash great because the hoomans here taught me, and I am learning to trust. “Some people get a little shy, you know, and it can take a certain mood or situation or a vibe for you to relax and come out of your shell.” They say I am some sort of a shepherd mix, but I just wish to grow up to be a good boy. Well let’s hit the road and maybe grab some food?

Over here! Can you see me? I think my ears stand tall enough to spot me! The name is Scooby. I am about 5 months old, a shepherd mix, and my brother, Shaggy and I, were dumped at a trailer park. I refuse to allow that to slow me down in life. I was a little nervous when I first arrived, but they taught me how to trust. I would refuse to walk on a leash but have mastered that now. Toys are still new to me, but I carried one in my moth the other day. I am super sweet and just want to please my human. If only I had a human. I do well with other dogs too! I love when we have playtime in the park and I can run around with the other pups! Well, what do you say? Want to give me a chance?

UPDATE: ADOPTED 😍❤️🦴

Psssttt… Hey! Yea you… whatcha doing? Please say you came to break me out of here. Once upon a time I had a mom. She had a health scare and was rushed to the ER. Well I was rushed here. I was so worried and scared. They kind humans here tried to get me back to her but she said she no longer wanted me. What did I do? I do my best to be a good girl and get along with pretty much everyone. But still she no longer wanted me after the four short months we spent together. So here I am attempting to start all over. I wish for a family that will love me, play with me, and even snuggle me! In return they will receive unconditional love, a ear ready to listen always, and a super friendly girl that just wishes to please her family. I am about two years old and some sort of shepherd mix. I was already spayed, current on all vaccinations, and microchipped so I can always find my way back to you! Do you have a spot for me to call home? I sure hope so. I will be forever grateful.

Hello! I’m Asher. I am about 8 months old, and a mastiff mix, probably. As you can see, I’m a big boy, but also a huge softie. I am very affectionate, great on a leash, and would do wonderful with other dogs. They keep saying I am a Velcro dog. What ever that means. Something about I like to stick by them and not leave their side? I just live by the buddy system because I already lost my family once. I am also already neutered, so that’s one less thing for you to worry about. I was found with my neuter sutures still in tact. Hey! Are you in need of a big ol’ snuggle buddy? Of course you are, everybody is! I’m Holly and I’m about 3 years old. They tell me that I am a Great Pyrenees, but I don’t even know what that means! I think it means I am sorta great. I DO know that I get along well with other dogs, I walk wonderfully on a leash, and I love people. Hey y’all! My name is Anne, like the author Anne Rice. They named me that because I was found wandering into the library to look for someone to take me home. I had a ton of scars and scabs on me at the time. I have been through a lot but let’s leave that in the past! I’m about two years old and literally ALWAYS HAPPY!! I do a little dance when they come to take me for my walks, which I do very well on. I have good manners and love to pass time rolling in the grass. I also don’t potty in my kennel. Let’s go pick out a good book and snuggle up!

UPDATE: went to a wonderful rescue ❤️🦴

Good day, fair beings. I am known far and wide as “Snow White”. I am a shepherd mix at approximately 2 years of age. I do wonderfully with other dogs and people. I am fairly well-behaved if I do say so myself. I can walk on a leash with no pulling and respond well to most commands. I am overall a happy girl just waiting for her happy ever after. May I suggest letting me be princess of your castle? I promise you don’t have to be Prince Charming or kiss me to wake me up. Let’s go binge watch some classic Disney’s movies.

I am about a year old and have mastered life already. I know how to walk on a leash well, I know some of my basics such as sit, and don't forget the best part... I am super adorable! Hiya! Mikes the name. Are you looking to take me to what they keep referring to as a home? My brother, Sulley, and I were found roaming the street and somehow ended up here. I was just trying to roam this big huge world. I like to play! They say I don’t have an off button. Everyone is my friend! I need a little guidance when it comes to some manners. The humans here have been helping me. My leash skills have improved and I have learned to sit for attention instead of jumping up on someone. I am shaping into a excellent young pup. Ello new friend! Name pancake! What’s yours? I am a very young, about six months old, shepherd pup that enjoys playing. I mean I really LOVE to play! I need to work on my manners a little such as jumping and barking at everyone when they ignore me. These things can easily be fixed. Just provide me with a routine and a little guidance and I will thrive. I tend to pick up things quickly and have already improved on my leash manners. Story time… I received my name pancake because when I arrived here I would lay flat like a pancake when they tried to walk me. It was all overwhelming at first. But I get it now. I wasn’t the greatest at being a dog but they are teaching me! I love other dogs and all people. The nice humans here keep saying I am going to be HUGE based of my size and paws. But what do they know? I will always be a lap puppy. Anyways whatcha up to today? Maybe I can join? Who knows maybe you’re the syrup to my pancake!

Update: after everything Minnie has been through she is officially adopted! ❤️🥲🦴 SOO happy for this sweet girl.

Hiya! I was told my name is Minnie but sometimes I think my name is sweet girl. Being sweet is my strong suit. I can come of as timid but warm up super quickly. When I see other dogs I light up! Big, small, crazy, or calm I love them all. I am hoping to find a couch here soon to crash on. Is that yours? I pinky promise to behave, potty outside, and even provide you with all the love you please. I try to keep my area clean and know to go outside. Walking on a leash is a breeze for me. I like cats, don’t run off, know some basics, and adjust to a routine quickly. I came in as a stray but ended up a mama. I had a litter of ten puppies. They all have found homes by now. I just wish I had a human of my own. Can I go home with you? Call Lancaster Animal Shelter at (972)218-1210 to get it finalized.
