The BOD POD®
This body composition tracking system relies on a patented scientific process using air displacement. It uses whole body densitomtery. The test is non-invasive and takes 3-5 minutes. It provides excellent tracking for individuals that want to to see a change in their body composition (fat mass vs lean mass, & body fat percentage). High level athletes such as Olympians use this system. At the AWC, we recommend getting re-tested every month to see the changes from improved nutrition, physical activity & exercise, sleep, and stress management.
Call 915-742-9566 to schedule an appointment.
Fun Fact - The BOD POD® has been the exclusive body composition testing method for the NFL Scouting Combine since 2006, testing over 3,000 players to assess their body compositions.

A good general rule is to drink AT LEAST half your body weight in ounces of water (For a 150 lb person, that would be at least 75 oz water). We also get water from fruits, vegetables, soups, and other beverages (non-alcoholic). And, coffee does NOT dehydrate you, but alcohol DOES!
