Our Soldiers were doing the NTC 21-10 Rotation in September. We didn't want to miss the opportunity to celebrate their birthdays.
Happy belated birthday!
Happy Wednesday! Please come and join us for our spicy chili cook-off competition at 1130 on October 28th. Share your recipes with your Soldiers or bring your favorite dish!
Drive safe... Your car can kill and don't forget to share the road!

Happy Friday, Chimera Family!
We would like to take a few minutes of your time and welcome you to the Company and Chimera Soldier Family Readiness Group (SFRG). If you are new to our Company then first and foremost: welcome.
It is important to us that we establish a good communication system with the family members of all Soldiers assigned to C Company. As your Soldier may have already told you, your Soldier will be out conducting field training at Fort Irwin, CA.
This field training is vital to our organization and will require your Soldier to be fully focused. The purpose of the cellphone BAN is to ensure we as an organization has the systems in place to support communication with the SFRG and stress our Military Communication Systems while we are training. This is not any different than what happens when we deploy somewhere in the world. When the BAN is put into place, you will not have direct communication from your Soldier, but the SFRG will be able to keep you involved in how things are going.
Other resources will be available during that time as well. We will push out more information over the page as it becomes available. If there is anything you need, feel free to reach out to us. Thanks for your support and you are the greatest motivation of our Soldiers and Leaders!
On Thursday, our Provider Family had a wonderful organizational lunch. Thanks for all the support and hard work!
Chimeras celebrated the Army’s birthday with a double header win yesterday. Soldiers

For leader's time training, Headquarters sections set up the Command Post and BMSO/Medical Maintenance. We certified and validated the HQ TACSOP IOT get the preparation phase ready for the next week's TEWT. A hands on training method was used with verbal instructions to supplement.
Overall, we successfully set up the Command Post with camo nets and an additional camo net for the BMSO and medical maintenance section. Many of the new soldiers have not attended a field or set up the Command Post so it was beneficial to have a period of initial instruction for them.
Combat water survival training led by CPL Fitzhugh and SPC Nielsen.
On May 14th, Headquarters conducted a class on CBRN response and decontamination procedures, led by SGT Parrish. The course covered proper procedures per EFMB standards of response to a CBRNE agent, donning JSLIST, proper self and battle buddy decontamination, and disassembling and reassembling an M9. It included a period of verbal instruction followed by one of hands-on instruction for each task.
Overall, the class improved our platoon's basic knowledge of reacting to a CBRN agent and decontamination. The integration of classroom style learning and practical application heightened our understanding of the task.
CSM Bryant participated in the SHARP role play scenarios on Friday. Our Battalion and Company are working really hard to facilitate a cultural change and share not tolerance.
