We celebrated an incredible group of seniors who have officially committed to continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level! Congratulations to Tabitha for swimming, Sydney for softball, Avery for soccer, and Koen & James for football! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to your sports have made the entire Yellowjacket community proud. We cannot wait to see all that you accomplish at the next level. Tonight we celebrate the seniors of Eldred Track & Field and Varsity Softball before the Varsity Softball game vs. Rockland! 🖤💛
These athletes have battled through early mornings, late nights, tough practices, big meets, and huge games while proudly representing the Hive every step of the way. Their hard work, dedication, leadership, and memories have helped build Yellowjacket Athletics into what it is today! 🐝
Let’s pack the field tonight and give our seniors the recognition they deserve! Come out loud, proud, and ready to cheer on an amazing group of student-athletes as they are honored one final time on their home field! 🥎🏃

We absolutely loved opening our doors to teachers and administrators from the Fallsburg Central School District for a special visit to Mackenzie Elementary! Our team was thrilled to showcase our writing workshop model in action, giving our guests an up-close look at the student-centered strategies and structures that make our classrooms truly come alive. From our professional development room to our bustling classrooms, our staff eagerly shared their passion for writing instruction and the incredible work our students do every day. We are proud of what is happening at Mackenzie and love any opportunity to share it.

⚾ Modified Baseball is heading to Redhawks country for a big matchup!

🥎 Modified Softball is home at The Hive taking on Liberty!

⚾ Varsity Baseball is also home at The Hive as they battle the Tri-Valley Bears!

🏃 Modified Track is heading to Goshen for their Modified Invitational!

Volunteers from 5th and 6th grade spent a few recess days and after lunch times to create cat enrichment activities for the Cat House at Animal Manor. The Furry Hearts Club delivered their projects and some cat treats. Miss Kitty was the biggest fan! The cats and volunteers were very grateful for the students who generously gave their time!
Students from the club also spent Thursday evening at the Farm Sanctuary at Animal Manor. Club members enjoyed meeting the animals and learning about their needs. They even had a chance to work around the barn, feeding animals and spreading hay. Thank you, Furry Hearts volunteers!

A busy night at The Hive last evening , but a successful one for Yellowjacket Athletics! 🐝💛🖤 ⚾ Varsity Baseball celebrated Senior Night with a big win over Rockland! 🥎 Varsity Softball defeated Chapel Field to clinch the Division Championship! 🥎 Modified Softball picked up a great win over Fallsburg! 🏃 Varsity Track had a strong showing at Sullivan West last night as well! Also, a huge congratulations to Evan Zgrodek on reaching 100 career strikeouts last night! What an incredible accomplishment! 👏🔥 Great night to be a Yellowjacket!

Senior Night at The Hive was a special one as we honored Mason, Trai, and Austin for their dedication, leadership, and hard work throughout their careers! Thank you for everything you have brought to Eldred athletics and our school community.
The Yellowjackets made the night even better with a huge 11-1 victory over Rockland! Great team win and an awesome way to celebrate our seniors! 🐝⚾💛🖤
