Commissioner Nick Teague is an elected government official and serves as one of the five Emergency Services District Commissioners for Bastrop/Travis Counties ESD1.

We’re proud to announce the upcoming addition of four new fire apparatus to our fleet, with deliveries beginning in the 1st Quarter of 2027:

🔥 1 New Engine
💧 1 New Tender
🌲 2 New Brush Trucks

These investments represent our continued commitment to strengthening our response capabilities, replacing aging equipment, and providing the highest level of fire and emergency services to the communities we proudly serve.

We are excited about what these new apparatus will bring to our department and, most importantly, to the citizens we serve every day.

This morning Bastrop/Travis ESD1 responded to a dump truck rollover on S. Main St. in Elgin. Crews did a phenomenal job extricating the patient and I was able to assist with on scene care. Great job everyone!
