Last Friday, at the Elizabeth Forward–South Allegheny football game, families ran for safety after a gun was fired near the stadium.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. But no parent should have to run from gunfire at a high school football game.

Andrew Kuzma had opportunities to make our communities safer. He repeatedly voted NO:

❌ NO on expanded background checks
❌ NO on Extreme Risk Protection Orders
❌ NO on cracking down on stolen and untraceable ghost guns

Fi****ms are the leading cause of death for American children and teenagers ages 1 through 17. That is not freedom. It is a deadly failure of leadership.

We can protect the Second Amendment without sacrificing our children. Responsible gun ownership and commonsense gun-safety laws are not opposites.

I’m Dylan Altemara, and I’m running for State Representative because PA 39 deserves more than politicians who offer thoughts and prayers while voting against action.

I will fight for stronger background checks, safe firearm storage, lost and stolen reporting, and action against 3-D printed ghost guns.

Our children deserve to feel safe in classrooms, at football games, and in their neighborhoods. When Andrew Kuzma had the chance to protect them, he voted no.

I’m proud to have the support of the Allegheny-Fayette Central Labor Council and the working people who keep our communities running. ✊

This campaign isn’t about climbing the political ladder. It’s about changing who Harrisburg works for.

For too long, working families have watched the cost of housing, healthcare, groceries, utilities, and property taxes climb while wages struggle to keep up. Meanwhile, corporations and wealthy special interests have lobbyists in the Capitol making sure they get heard.

Working people deserve that same power.

That means raising wages, protecting the right to organize, defending prevailing wage, investing in union apprenticeships and career and technical education, strengthening workplace safety, and making sure taxpayer dollars create good-paying jobs here in Pennsylvania.

It also means taking on the system itself. I believe being your State Representative should be a full-time job. No corporate side jobs. No conflicts of interest. No special-interest bribes. No selling access to government. Public service should mean serving the public.

And we need an economy where a family working 40 hours a week can actually get ahead, where healthcare doesn't bankrupt you, property taxes don't force seniors from their homes, and our kids can build a good life without leaving the communities where they grew up.

I know what economic insecurity looks like. That's why I'm running.

Harrisburg has enough insiders.

Dolly was more than a country music legend; she was a proud union sister, a champion for working women, and a philanthropist whose generosity put millions of books into children's hands.

Her timeless anthem “9 to 5” gave voice to generations of workers demanding dignity, fairness, and respect. Her music, kindness, and commitment to lifting others up will continue to inspire us.

A judge or jury will decide the merits of this case. But PA State Rep. Andrew Kuzma, who the taxpayers already pay $113,591 a year, should not be the lawyer suing the same taxpayers in the Elizabeth Forward School District for three-quarters of a million dollars.

As the PA AFL-CIO-endorsed candidate for State Representative, I consider it very important to have conversations and expand our reach to support our brothers and sisters in labor.

It was great to have the opportunity to speak with the Pittsburgh Regional Building Trades today.

The council represents 33 affiliated unions and roughly 55,000 workers, 16 training centers, and 35+ apprenticeship programs in the Pittsburgh region. They have built our past and continue to build our future while allowing people to have a decent quality of life.
