I know I’ve probably said this 100 times throughout this campaign, but I truly can’t say thank you enough. I am incredibly grateful for every vote, every conversation, every kind word and every show of encouragement along the way. The support I’ve received from all across District 3 has meant more to me and my family than I can put into words.

I’m thankful for every person who took the time to visit with me, share their concerns, ask questions and get out and vote. One of the best parts of this campaign has been getting around the district, seeing familiar faces and meeting a lot of new ones along the way.

I also want to congratulate James on a good, hard-fought campaign and wish him and his family nothing but the best.

I’m honored that the people of District 3 have put their trust in me. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’m ready to get to work, and I’ll do everything I can to serve all of District 3 well.

District 3 is home to some great communities and even better people. If elected, I want everyone across the district to know that I’ll be available, willing to listen, and ready to work for you.

I know the roads and communities throughout District 3, and I understand how important our roads, bridges and county services are to the people who depend on them every day.

I believe in being responsible with taxpayer dollars, taking care of what we have, and working together to make District 3 the best it can be.

Most importantly, I want to be a commissioner you feel comfortable picking up the phone and calling when you have a question or concern.

I would sincerely appreciate your vote today and the opportunity to serve all of District 3.

Thank you for all of the support throughout this campaign!

Election Day is tomorrow!

As we head into tomorrow, I just want to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to visit with me, share your thoughts, attend events, and offer encouragement along the way.

Over the past several months, I’ve had the chance to reconnect with familiar faces and meet so many new ones throughout District 3. I’m grateful for every conversation and for everyone who has been a part of this journey.

Polls will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25, from 7 AM–7 PM at your regular polling place.

No matter who you choose to vote for, I encourage everyone to get out and exercise your right to vote. Every vote matters, and having your voice heard is an important part of our community.

Thank you, Beckham County District 3, for all of the kindness and support you’ve shown along the way.

Over the last week, I’ve had the chance to attend the Red Dirt 4-H Labor & Silent Auction and the Erick FFA Ice Cream Social & PTO Silent Auction.

Throughout this campaign, I’ve sincerely enjoyed getting out in our communities, meeting so many new faces, and catching up with familiar ones. These events are a good reminder of what makes our communities special — people showing up, supporting our kids, and supporting one another.

I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to visit with me, share their thoughts, ask questions, or simply say hello along the way. I’ve enjoyed every conversation and getting to know even more of the people who call Beckham County home.

Thank you to everyone who puts in the time and work to make events like these possible and to everyone who comes out to support our local youth. It’s always good to see our communities come together.

As we get closer to Election Day, I want to take a minute to address something that has been talked about quite a bit lately — the financial position of Beckham County.

There’s no question that counties across Oklahoma are having to make every dollar stretch further. Revenues change from year to year, and Beckham County is no exception. That makes experience, responsible budgeting, and understanding how county government operates more important than ever.

I’ve spent 32 years working for Beckham County. During that time, I’ve seen good years and lean years. I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to maintain roads and bridges, keep equipment running, take care of employees, and make responsible decisions with taxpayer dollars.

I’m not running because I think I have all the answers, and I’m certainly not going to make promises about money that isn’t there. I’m running because I believe my experience has prepared me to look at the numbers, prioritize what needs to be done, and make the best decisions possible with the resources District 3 has available.

And yes, I hope many of you consider me a friend. I don’t believe being approachable or knowing the people you serve is a weakness. I believe it matters. A County Commissioner should be someone you can call, talk to, ask questions of, and expect an honest answer from.

But I’m not asking for your vote simply because you know me.

I’m asking for your vote based on my 32 years of service to Beckham County, my experience doing this work every day, and the record I’ve built along the way.

If elected, I’ll continue doing what I’ve done throughout my career — show up, work hard, listen to the people of District 3, and be responsible with the taxpayer dollars entrusted to the county.

I would appreciate your vote on August 25.

Saturday, I had the opportunity to attend Northfork Electric Cooperative’s 87th Annual Meeting. It’s one of those events that brings back a lot of memories for me.

I’ve been attending the annual meeting since I was a young boy. My whole family would gather up and head to town, ready to enjoy the festivities and the picnic lunch packed by my grandparents. The annual meeting always felt like a family reunion, with friends included. I’m grateful to still be able to attend all these years later and see that tradition continue.

Events like this are so good for our community. They give us a chance to slow down, visit with people we may not get to see every day, and catch up on what’s happening around us.

I enjoyed visiting with so many great folks, including Congressman Frank Lucas and Tracy Taylor, and talking about the different things happening throughout our community and our society.

It’s always good to get out, catch up with familiar faces, and see everyone. I’m thankful for traditions like this and the people who make them special!

Being responsible with your tax dollars isn’t just part of the job, it’s one of the most important parts.

Every dollar the county spends comes from the hardworking people of Beckham County. That means every decision should be made carefully, with honesty, common sense, and the community in mind.

My goal is simple: make sure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely, prioritize the projects that matter most, and take care of our county’s roads, bridges, and equipment without unnecessary waste.

After 32 years working for Beckham County, I understand the importance of stretching every dollar and making sure the work gets done right.

That’s the kind of leadership I’ll bring to District 3—responsible, dependable, and focused on serving the people of Beckham County.
