We are pleased that you have taken the time to explore the information that is found on this site. The school district has a proud tradition of excellence in educating our youth. We are proud of both our academic and extra-curricular successes. The school dis

trict of Elk Mound is located in northwestern Wisconsin, 10 miles west of Eau Claire. The district has an approximate enrollment of 1130 students distributed between three schools. The elementary school houses preschool through 4th grade. The middle school houses 5th through 8th grades. The high school houses 9th-12th grades. Enrollment at the elementary has shown an upward trend, and district-wide enrollment has increased significantly over the past several years. The village of Elk Mound is located in the Chippewa Valley, between the cities of Eau Claire, Menomonie, and Chippewa Falls. Although farming has been the dominant occupation within the district, in recent years several small businesses have been established in the community. Industry, businesses and services are available in the neighboring cities. Approximately 800 people live in the village of Elk Mound. Many housing developments have been established both within and outside the village, and these developments continue to expand. Wright - Superintendent

It was an exciting night for the Elk Mound Track and Field Team in Fall Creek for our first ever Western Cloverbelt Conference Championship.

Girls finished 4th with 86 points.

It was a close one for the boys all the way to the end! Boys finished 2nd behind Bloomer by only 4 points.

Congratulations to Allie (100H), Adam (110H and 300H), and Derek (high jump) for winning their events and earning All-Conference honors!

Also, congratulations to these athletes for getting in 2nd place and earning Honorable Mention honors: Allie (300H), Taylor (pole vault), Lauren (triple jump), and the Girls' 4x100 (Autumn, Kloey, Lauren, Taylor). On the boys side: Adam (200m and long jump), Derek (triple jump), Boys' 4x100 (Graedin, Grady, Max, Paiton), Boys' 4x400 (Miles, Teegan, Graedin, Teegan), and the Boys' 4x800 (Teegan, Jack, Eathan, Jacob).

Up next for the Elk Mound Track and Field tram is the Regional Meet in Altoona on Tuesday.
