One week until Election Day! Get out and vote and make your voices heard! As a school board candidate, I will always put students first.
“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”
-Aristotle
As you can see with my campaign points and ideas, I believe a proper education should teach children HOW to think rather than WHAT to think. As a board member, I would vow to uphold this philosophy when making any decision for Concord Community Schools.
The main difference between myself and the other 2 Concord School Board candidates is that I am not afraid to research and find answers to anything that may need to be reevaluated in order to make Concord Community Schools a better place for everyone. There are undoubtedly a lot of concerns around our great country as to where public schools are heading, what is being taught, and
aren’t considered “popular”. When elected, I will work hard for the students of Concord to ensure they are getting the best education possible-that we are sticking to the basics of education, and striving to constantly improve, all while limiting the controversial issues that sadly surround education today.
Parents have the right to know and be aware of the challenges that face schools today. There is so much more Concord can do to increase transparency and to make our schools more safe for students. I will fight for those changes and look for ways to increase parental involvement so that a comprehensive approach to education between the home and the school environment is bridged.
If this is the kind of candidate you are wanting to represent this great community for Concord Community Schools, then I would ask for your vote November 5!
