I saw Democrats like Chuck Schumer immediately rush to blame the tragic shooting in Minnesota on our right to bear arms and I want to directly respond.
Whenever there is a school shooting, the Dem-media response is always to blame the 2nd Amendment.
Why is that?
So they can achieve their longterm ideological goal of endless gun control that eventually leads to gun confiscation.
It also allows them to ignore the lack of security at schools and distract from the growing epidemic of leftwing anti-Trump violence.
It's interesting to me that the politicians who constantly call to restrict the rights of law-abiding citizens in response to every mass shooting, throw a temper tantrum at the mere suggestion that we fortify our schools with armed security.
But how many kids have to die in school shootings before we finally say enough is enough and protect them with the security that they deserve?
We also now know that the monster responsible for this wasn't just a random thug committing a crime, he was a trans leftwing activist, who was clearly driven by his hatred for President Trump.
Of course, that probably means that the media is going to do everything in their power to disappear this story, but we should not allow them to get away with that.
Now this might not be politically correct to say, but it's hard not to notice that there is a disproportionate amount of self identified trans people who in the past several years have committed mass shootings.
At a certain point, we need to have a conversation as a country about why that is.
Is it possible that brainwashing children into believing that they can change their gender and pumping them full of experimental hormones can cause longterm mental issues?
When kids are getting murdered in cold blood, we need to throw political correctness and hurt feelings out the window.
Finally, after two assassination attempts from deranged leftists, you would think Democrats would have tamped down their violent rhetoric against the President and other conservatives, but we've seen the opposite happen since President Trump was re-elected.
So what is the solution?
1. We need to get tough on criminals and finally fortify our schools with the type of security necessary to stop mentally ill mass shooters.
2. We need to stop the political correctness and have an honest conversation about the potential longterm effects of pushing transgenderism on our kids.
3. The leadership of the Democrat Party needs to do some serious soul searching and finally tamp down their violent rhetoric against our President once and for all.
Unfortunately, Democrats REALLY don't want to have a conversation about any of these things, so they immediately pivot to blaming a freedom that millions of Americans enjoy without ever breaking the law.
It's absolutely disgraceful.
So No Chuck - Guns aren't the cause of this tragedy - This was caused by politicians refusing to secure our schools, mental illness destroying a soul, and the never-ending stream of violent rhetoric coming from your political party.
Jane and I will both be holding our new baby boy extra tight tonight and will be praying for all the victims and their families.
