🚨 SIDE-BY-SIDE & ATV SAFETY REMINDER 🚨

Over the past few weeks, the Schley County Sheriff’s Office has received numerous complaints regarding side-by-sides and 4-wheelers being operated in a reckless manner on our roadways.

We want to remind everyone to know and follow the law:

• Side-by-sides must have a valid tag, insurance, headlights, and taillights, and must be operated by a licensed adult.

• Side-by-sides are permitted only on county roads. They are prohibited on state routes, except when crossing a state route.

• 4-wheelers/ATVs are prohibited from being operated on public roadways.

Please operate these vehicles responsibly and safely. Reckless operation puts you, your passengers, and other motorists at risk.

Please abide by the law and help keep Schley County roadways safe.
