✏️ BACK TO SCHOOL — CITY OF ELLIS✏️

The Clerk’s Office Girls had a FUN idea. 💡

The Police Department? Shout-out to Chief Smith, who has mastered the art of getting his guys to do (almost) anything the office girls ask. 👏

Public Works? Well… they would really just like the girls to leave them alone. We appreciate your reluctant cooperation. 😂

All jokes aside, we had a lot of fun putting this together, and we love getting our City employees involved in these little projects. Because apparently, team bonding at the City of Ellis sometimes means making grown men hold elementary-school-style signs for pictures. 🤷‍♀️

As everyone heads back to school today, we want to wish all of our students, teachers, administrators, and school staff a fantastic school year!

May this year be filled with new adventures, lots of learning, great memories, and only a reasonable amount of homework. 📚

Shout out to our Ellis Police Department!

A big THANK YOU goes out to all who donated to the Ellis Police Department’s 2026 School Supply Drive!

With your help, we delivered approximately 100 pounds of school supplies to USD388 and St. Mary's School-Ellis. Your donations are much appreciated and will help equip students and teachers for success throughout the 2026-2027 school year!
