Project Next Generation at Elmwood Park Public Library Project Next Generation (PNG) is a series of technology classes for Teens and MidKids. We are always looking to offer new activities as well!

Project Next Generation strives to introduce new technologies and information literacy to youngsters in a relaxed and creative classroom environment. Classes revolve around creating content using computers and digital devices as well as understanding and making electronics. Some of the major focal points are digital photography, digital photo manipulation, digital video, digital video editing, mus

ic creation, 3D design, 3D printing, electronic circuitry, as well as computer coding, programming and robotics. You can view all of our past class activities by visiting our PNG @ Elmwood Park Public Library blog. Soldering
PNG classes are typically held on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school at 4pm. PNG events are listed on our monthly calendar. PNG programs are free but sign-ups are required. Classes are held on the 2nd floor of the library in the Next Gen Lab. Funding for PNG is provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services to the Secretary of State/Illinois State Library under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
