-Read a book from your favorite genre
-Listen to an audio book
-Download a digital magazine from Libby, or check one out from the library
-Visit the Bookmobile
-Attend a library event
-Choose a library adventure of your choice by checking out library materials, using a study room, using the Makerspace, and more!

It's another busy week at the library for Summer Learning 2026. Highlight include a visit from award winning storyteller, Paul Strickland, live music from Big Bang Boom, and Greatest Night of Play with Kiwanis Club of Henry County.

All ages are welcome to join us on Monday for Unearth a Folk Tale, Dig Up a Song with award winning storyteller, Paul Strickland. Fun folk tales full of surprises and silly songs come to life in this high-energy, interactive program designed specifically for summer audiences.

Kids don’t just listen—they jump in. They help shape the stories, repeat refrains, and discover that stories aren’t just something you read… they’re something you do. The result? Kids stay engaged, families stay entertained, and boredom gets buried deep underground.

About the Performer:
Paul Strickland is an award-winning storyteller whose work has been recognized with Best Children’s Theatre Production at the Saskatoon Fringe Festival and the Kids Fringe Choice Award at the Orlando Fringe Festival. He has performed his original stories at the SoHo Playhouse Off-Broadway, and he previously served as a Teller-in-Residence at the International Storytelling Center and has been a Featured Teller at the National Storytelling Festival.
