We're so excited that Bananarama Sundae, Cactus Blue Mexican Restaurant, Grubnight Food Truck, and Kopper Penny Koncessions will be returning to this years food court! But we're looking to add a couple more food trucks with different menu options to give everyone even more delicious choices.

Hello Emmaus! America is celebrating its 250th birthday, but did you know that our beloved Emmaus Halloween Parade has been filling our historic borough with magic, music, and local pride for over 100 years?

Every October, our community floats, marching groups, and high school bands ready themselves to light up the night. But behind the scenes, a critical reality remains: The parade cannot safely march down the route without your help. We are a volunteer-run tradition, and to keep everyone safe, we need our neighbors and friends to step up today.

Here is how you can help us keep the magic alive:
🦺 Become a Parade Day Route-Safety Volunteer:
Can you commit just a few hours on the night of Saturday, October 17th? We need Parade Walkers and Division Captains to wear our
official orange vests, get some light exercise, and politely guide our thousands of spectators to stay safely on the sidewalks. It’s simple, crucial work.
High school students looking for community service hours and local civic groups are highly encouraged to join us!

📅 Join the Planning Committee:
Want to help organize the fun? We need committed volunteers to join us at Emmaus Borough Hall (28 S. 4th Street) on Thursday nights at 7:00 PM, starting September 17th through October 15th. Meetings last just an hour, and we offer a virtual option if you must miss a night.
Bonus: We treat our committee to breakfast on the morning of the parade and celebrate with a pizza wrap-up meeting in November! Yummmm!

🧡CAN'T VOLUNTEER THIS YEAR? YOU CAN STILL HELP THE PARADE! 🧡
It costs over $20,000 to safely host the BEST Halloween Parade in the County. If you don't have the time to volunteer, please consider chipping in to fund it. Every single dollar goes directly back into our borough's favorite night of the year.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Bob Green, a longtime and dedicated volunteer of the Emmaus Halloween Parade.

Bob gave so many years of his time supporting the parade through his work with the Delaware Lehigh Amateur Radio Club, helping ensure everything ran smoothly and safely year after year. His commitment, reliability, and presence behind the scenes made a lasting impact on this beloved community tradition.

We are incredibly grateful for all that Bob contributed over the years. The parade simply wouldn’t have been the same without him!

Please join us in keeping Bob’s family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time. His legacy will continue to be felt each October as the parade carries on stronger because of people like him. 🎃💛

With Thanksgiving upon us, we’re feeling especially grateful. 🧡🦃

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Wesley Works Real Estate and Keystone Running Store who have helped raise nearly $60,000 for the Emmaus Halloween Parade over the past 19 years through their dedication to the Emmaus Halloween Parade 5K Race. Each year, the race donates $3,000–$4,000 to support the parade, and their impact doesn’t stop there.

Thanks to the race’s generosity, our community has benefited from important safety enhancements like flashing crosswalk signs, a new speed timing board for the Police Department, and numerous park projects and events that make Emmaus shine.

This Thanksgiving season, we’re truly thankful for our partners who give back year after year and help keep our traditions strong. 🧡
