RSVP of Enid and North Central Oklahoma, Inc. places adults 55 and over in volunteer positions at local non-profit, public, and government agencies. RSVP helps volunteers to participate in meaningful, challenging, and interesting volunteer work. Through volunteerism, there is an elevated sense of belonging because the volunteer gets to achieve something of importance by being able to express their creativity or by finding an outlet for their compassion or desire to help. Whatever the reason, volunteers bring about a greater purpose to the lives of the citizens in our communities through the impact of their skills, knowledge, and ability.
Mission: It is our mission to bridge the gap between those who need and those who give. This successful partnership has allowed not only our communities to become enriched but also our volunteers.

We are in need of several more volunteer drivers. Volunteering for Enid Mobile Meals is a great way to make a huge impact in a short amount of time. By delivering meals you bring nutritious food and a friendly visit to 8 to 15 seniors and people with disabilities in your community.

Today is Giving Tuesday!! Please help us bless those who will be celebrating Christmas alone. We have received hundreds of Santa for Senior wish lists and we hope to fill them all! Most seniors have asked for items that will help keep them warm during the winter months like blankets, coats, house shoes, robes and food. Grace Care cooperated with RSVP for World Kindness Day to fulfill several wishes. Included in some of the wish items delivered were, an electric can opener, house slippers, pajamas, a rib eye steak, bacon & eggs, paper towels, hand sanitizer, hand lotion and more. Today was World Day of Kindness!! We are so grateful for all the love Enid seniors received today! United Way of Enid & NW Oklahoma and Security National Bank dropped off an abundance of Santa for Seniors items to bless our homebound seniors for Christmas! Valir Hospice delivered delicious donuts to help keep us going on this very busy day! Project SEARCH blessed our Mobile Meal seniors with beautiful handmade cards and the Girl Scouts Troop 727 brought balloons so our volunteers could deliver them to each senior on Mobile Meals. Many of our volunteers who delivered Mobile Meals today said every senior they delivered to had a big smile on their face and several cried when they saw the cards and balloons! These small acts of kindness brightened the lives of so many seniors and we would like to thank everyone who helped make this day a special one for hundreds of seniors today!! ❤️❤️❤️

RELIEF BUZZ: If you are elderly or feel like you need assistance with limbs on your home or in your driveway you can call Southern Baptist Disaster Relief. They have setup a command center in Enid and have chainsaws ready to go. Call 580-402-4207.

With RSVP of Enid's office being on the corner of the two busiest streets in Enid we have seen a lot and have helped a lot in many situations. Today was an amazing thing to witness as the community came together to help someone whose vehicle broke down while at the stop light. Chief Brian O'Rourke happened to be behind them when their vehicle stalled. The Enid Police Department showed up to help stop traffic while Chief O'Rourke, the officer who stopped traffic and several bystanders including Enid High School Basketball Coach Curtis Foster pushed them to a safer place. We love the City of Enid and all the good people who live in our community! Thank you to everyone who was out there helping! ❤️🚓🚦🏀🚔💪😍👏

We are so excited to award RSVP Enid their 2020 grant to help with their Enid Mobile Meals program! Our community is very fortunate to have RSVP and they have so many wonderful programs that help our community.
Enid Mobile Meals help improve senior citizen's diets, health and provide food security for those participating, thus giving them the stability to stay in their homes longer. This program also helps reduce isolation and reassures and comforts families who live far from loved ones, providing recipients with a friendly smile and that important safety check, making the program extend far beyond the meal.
This grant makes our total number of giving since 2007 $2,841,609.36!

Seeing this on the KOCO news last night was so inspiring!! We are so thankful for everyone who was involved in the fan distribution project! Helping 350 families and seniors is a pretty powerful thing and we are blessed to be able to be a part of this mission!
Several local companies teamed up Monday morning to make an impact in the Enid community as the summer temperatures continued to rise.
So much good happening in our amazing little community today!! Fan distribution with OG&E, United Way of Enid & NW Oklahoma, Stride Bank, N.A., RSVP of Enid, The Salvation Army of Enid, Oklahoma and an amazing group of volunteers!!! Thank you to Enid Police Department for directing traffic and make sure everyone was safe and thank you to the Office of Sheriff, Garfield County, Oklahoma with helping with distribution of the commodity boxes!! It took a community to make this happen! So many families and seniors in Enid and surrounding counties are thankful for everyone’s efforts!!
