👋 If you're new here and haven't yet heard, we're PHI Cares serving South Alabama, your local air medical membership program 🚁

You're probably asking yourself, what is a membership and what does it do? Think of it as pre-paying for a flight you hopefully never need. Except, the cost of a membership is a predictable amount of less than $100 per year. Whereas, if someone in your house is flown tomorrow with no membership, the bills you would later receive are an unpredictable amount of money, something most families aren't prepared for financially.

• With a membership, insurance is still billed first, then any remaining bills are written off
• Before you hit us with the "Well, I have good insurance, I don't need that." Do you know what that means, and further, are you aware what your deductible is?
• With a membership, we cover deductibles and co-pays, too, so even IF you have 'great coverage' the membership still saves you that deductible/co-pay, and is far cheaper than what those amounts would be
• Doesn't matter how many times someone in your household needs to be flown. Membership covers any amount, and the destination doesn't matter, either
• $75 per year for Seniors (60+), $95 otherwise, except where Chamber of Commerce discounts apply

We have a referral program intended to help spread awareness, AND give you free months of membership. Here's how it works 👇

For every person you refer that signs up, you BOTH receive an additional three (3) months of membership, added onto what you already purchased. So, if you buy a 1-year membership and refer one person, your 12-month membership just turned into 15 months.

Shoutout and Thank You to the City of Thomasville, Al for trusting us with PHI Cares Membership coverage for all city employees! 🚁

The city's commitment -- of just $60 per employee (per year) -- ensures that if any employee, or household member of an employee, requires air medical transport(s), all out-of-pocket expenses are covered and waived via our membership program. This applies to deductibles, co-pays, and so on, putting the financial worry aside in the event of a major medical emergency!
