🗳POLLING PLACES🗳 On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, polls will be open for the Primary Election in Williams County from 8 am to 7 pm CT.

🟢Vote Centers (any eligible Williams County voter can vote here)

🟠Precinct Specific Polling Places: A voter must reside within in the precinct to vote at the location.

🔸Ray City Hall - Precincts 54, 62, 63, 66 can vote

🗳Primary Election Absentee Ballot Reminders 🗳 Absentee Ballots are still available from the Williams County Auditor's Office counter (206 E Broadway) until 5 pm CT today, Monday June 8.

‼ ALL Absentee Ballots are due by 7 pm on Tuesday, June 9, at the Williams County Auditor’s Office. If an Absentee Ballot has been returned via mail, it must be ✨ received ✨by the County Auditor's Office by the deadline.

📥Absentee Ballots can also be returned to one of the Secure Drop Boxes located around the county. All Secure Drop Boxes for Absentee Ballots will be locked at 7 pm on Tuesday, June 9.

🗳️Absentee Ballot Reminders! The 2026 Primary Election is less than a month away! Planning to vote via Absentee Ballot? Here's what you need to know:

➡️If you have already applied for a 2026 Primary Election Absentee Ballot, it will be mailed to you.
➡️Applications can still be turned in! The last day Absentee Ballots will be MAILED to applicants will be May 29.
➡️Absentee Ballots can be applied for, and picked up, from the Williams County Auditor's Office counter through June 8.
📢ALL Absentee Ballots MUST be RECEIVED by the Auditor's Office no later than 7 pm CT on Tuesday, June 9 (Election Day). ‼️This is different than previous years!
📩Absentee Ballots can be returned via one of the FIVE secure ballot drop boxes located around the county, at the Auditor's Office Counter, or via mail (make sure you give it enough time to ARRIVE by June 9!)

🔥🚫BURN RESTRICTION REMINDER🚫🔥 The Williams County Burn Restriction is in effect when the ND Rangeland Fire Danger Rating is in the Very High or Extreme category for Williams County, and/or a Red Flag Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Williams County.

When the Burn Restrictions are in place, burning of the following is restricted:
🔥Very High: NO campfires, ignition of fireworks (aerial and ground), controlled burns (i.e., wood piles, tumbleweeds, tree piles, etc.), cropland/agriculture, garbage/pit, and unnecessary off-road motorized travel (anything other than paved or gravel surface).

🔥🔥Extreme: NO campfires, the ignition of fireworks (aerial and ground), controlled burns (i.e., wood piles, tumbleweeds, tree piles, etc.), cropland/agriculture, garbage/pit, and unnecessary off-road motorized travel (anything other than paved or gravel surface).

🚩Red Flag Warning: NO campfires, the ignition of fireworks (aerial and ground), controlled burns (i.e., wood piles, tumbleweeds, tree piles, etc.), cropland/agriculture, garbage/pit, and unnecessary off-road motorized travel (anything other than paved or gravel surface).

🟢What is allowed? The use of controlled devices (e.g. personal cooking/grilling devices) IS allowed IF they are located on a hard, non-organic surface at least 15 feet away from vegetation and a fire extinguisher or water is available on-site.

🍳What is a controlled device? Items such as gas, charcoal, wood-fired/pellet grills, gas patio fireplaces and chimneys, gas camp stoves, and smokers/pellet grills.
