With the current fuel prices I'm having to make adjustments, I held off as long as I could, hoping this would pass quickly. Below will be the price structure for all trips taken after Apr 12, 2026. I hope everyone understands.
Walkons:
2 person 500ea + 1/2 fuel cost for day
3 person: $500ea
4 person: $475ea

Private trip: $1900

This was the pricing I ran in 2021 when fuel got stupid, as soon as fuel dips below $4/gal I will drop back down. I am calling all crews currently booked to pass this info along so if we haven't talked, expect a call soon.

You Might Be a Bad Board Member if…

1. You have ever been a “no-call-no-show” for a board meeting.

2. You think skimming the board packet during the meeting counts as being prepared.

3. You treat the staff like they should be at your beck and call, and go straight to them rather than through the executive director.

4. You get frustrated about fundraising results but haven’t actually done anything to help raise money.

5. You don’t know how to understand the financials but think that’s OK because you’re “not a numbers person.”

6. You’ve talked smack about your org or executive director outside the board.

7. You have ever even thought that you should get your way “because I’m a board member.”

8. You consistently win the “time of possession clock” in board and committee meetings.

9. You’ve complained about the refreshments at a board meeting without offering to help.

AND…

10. You’ve never even thought about the fact that nobody is born with the skills to be a great board member. Like any skill, it must be developed through learning and practice.
