I'll see you all there!
Good evening, Delta Dems
MRS. GWEN WALZ
First off, THANK YOU for the huge show of enthusiasm for the First Lady of Minnesota, Mrs. Gwen Walz! It was so exciting to have her here in Escanaba. Special thanks go out to Brady Irving, the Michigan One Campaign Organizer and Delta Dems Secretary, and to the Bay Dems for doing the heavy lifting on this event. We are so proud of them! And Brady is setting records getting people out to canvass in this must win election. Please consider joining us next weekend and up through election day! It's a great way to meet new people and channel those fears into action. Every single vote counts!

BAY DEMS EVENT
The Bay Dems are hosting an event tomorrow night and you are invited! The event will be 5:30-7:30 at the Besse Theater. Kelli Van Ginhoven and Christiana Reynolds will speak. Brady Irving will present information on Project 2025 and show us how it's a threat to our democracy. There will also be voter registration and ballot information. See attached PDF.
MOYLE FLIP FLOP
Kelli said this would happen and she was right! Dave Moyle announced he's back in the race and is running ads. The Delta County Republican Committee said they have been quietly campaigning for him. If you are in this district, please, please vote and get your neighbors out. Let's make this an embarrassing loss that he cannot ignore!
SIGNS
We have received numerous reports of signs being vandalized - stolen, painted or smashed. Please report to your relevant law enforcement - sheriff, city, or state police. After the third incident, one of our members who reported each incident received a visit from the sheriff's office. They installed a camera, and plan to patrol areas where this is rampant. Again, please report. Enough is enough!! We are out of signs except for Harris Walz. We do have a few Reynolds signs left.
The Delta County Road Commission is actively removing signs that violate the rules starting tomorrow, October 28. Please be aware of your city ordinances as well.
The DCRC will be PULLING signs starting THIS Monday - please see the information they've asked us to share.
By the way, we have many Harris Walz signs now if you need any. Just reply to this email, or contact us through Facebook or the website.
The Delta County Road Commission would like to remind the public of proper political & advertisement sign placement:
π§ On County Roads - signs need to be 6-8 feet from the edge of the road.
π§ On State Highways - signs need to be 30 feet from the edge line. No signs should be placed in the intersections.
πStarting Monday, October 28th 2024 the Road Commission will be removing signs that do not adhere to the above conditions.
π Removed signs will be placed along our fence line at our Main Office in Escanaba located at 3000 32nd Ave N to be picked up by residents.
