I want to let everyone know that I am officially shutting down DelilahRae Beauty. I am moving and will no longer be offering services or taking appointments. Effective immediately, all scheduled appointments are canceled. If you paid a deposit, please message me and it will be returned immediately.
This decision wasn’t easy, and I really tried to make it work. But due to constant harassment from people in the local industry, while also trying to survive, pay bills, and make our bakery work after being severely screwed over at the last minute and forced to start with virtually no funding, it’s gotten to the point where I can’t even focus on my clients or my own business. I can’t give the quality that I want to give or that you all deserve.
On top of that, I’ll also be shutting down Beds of Faith. It doesn’t seem like anyone actually appreciates or cares about what we’ve tried to do for this community, and honestly, I’m tired. We’ve poured our hearts, time, money, and energy into helping people and building things for this town, and all we’ve gotten in return is negativity.
For a small town that constantly says it wants new businesses and wants people to invest in the community, you sure have a way of destroying the people who actually try.
To the people who genuinely supported me, believed in me, booked with me, donated, shared my posts, or simply cheered me on—thank you. You know who you are, and I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.
I’m done fighting battles that shouldn’t have to be fought just to exist as a small business owner. I wish everyone the best.
