Nat Park Stories

Nat Park Stories Welcome to Nat Park Stories, where every National Park has a story. The Nat Park Stories Podcast can be streamed now!

Summer Slevin is on a mission to go go all the US National Parks and talk to strangers along the way. What is Nat Park Stories? 🤔

Nat Park Stories is the idea child of Summer Slevin, travel enthusiast, nature junkie, and storyteller. 🙋‍♀️

In July, Summer is leaving in her van with her puppy to go to all the US National Parks. While at each park, she will

interview park rangers, historians, lobbyists, and know-it-alls about the past, present, and future of each park, while also interweaving personal narratives of park visitors in order to depict the impact of each park. She's hoping for National Park and Public Lands agencies to be sponsors, as well as various outdoor companies. And will also be collaborating with outdoor and nature podcasters, brand ambassadors, and bloggers. This won't just be a podcast, this will be a community of people that are and will become passionate about visiting and protecting National Parks. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Like and follow this page to see stories, behind the scenes videos of the podcast, and ideas for adventuring to all the National Parks. 👍

Nat Park Stories will be launching a Kickstarter video in May where we can raise the initial capital and spread awareness. This will tell the narrative of every park, large and small and will eventually grow into a really active and exciting community of people that get pumped about National Parks. Happy Valentine’s Day! 😂❤️

Log cabin dating walked so Tinder could run.

Before Glacier was a national park, frontier life meant skipping straight past the small talk.

Taken in 1901, this photo is a reminder that parks preserve not just beautiful landscapes, but the very human stories that unfolded there.
