Come out this Saturday, December 16, 2023 to St. Bartholomew from 10am-2pm, for a joint Anchor assistance day with myself and South Ward Councilwoman Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg.

The ANCHOR program provides property tax relief to New Jersey residents who own or rent property in New Jersey as their principal residence and meet certain income limits.

The current filing season for the ANCHOR benefit is based on 2020 residency, income, and age. Come out and get the help needed so you can get your rebate!

Tonight was a good night. Shout out to First Lady Diane Bellamy and her Black Women’s Mental Health initiative at her hair salon, it was an amazing time and a safe space with mental health professionals on site for the women in attendance. I’m sorry we had to leave and I definitely look forward to the next session. ⭐️

Next up, I hung out with my girls and celebrated the holidays with a good time, fabulous conversation and great company! ⭐️

Thank you to Fire Director Kenneth Douglas, the men/women of Trenton Fire Department, Trenton EMS, Trenton PD, and Canteen 22 for being on site and in position to assist with today’s fire at Trent Center West. At the time of my arrival, no fatalities were reported.

I waited on site until the State Fire Marshall arrived on scene and then the State Fire Inspector came to make the determination if residents could go back inside. Special thanks to Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds Jackson and Mayor Reed Gusciora who made calls for the expedited arrival of the Fire Inspector, you are appreciated.

Everyone, as the holidays are upon us, please be careful with outlets, open flames, space heaters, etc. My heart and prayers go out to the residents affected by this horrific occurrence, may God be with them all.

Just a little something to consider (I saw someone else post this and had to share it). It's getting dark earlier, mail carriers are still delivering mail and ensuring you receive your packages. That being the case, please keep your dogs locked up and your porch light on or something visible so your carrier can see. Keep your steps cleared (salted or sanded), for ease of walking. Last but not least, keep them in your prayers throughout this holiday season!!!! ⭐️

Shout out to Dolly Weldon-Gordon on another job well done feeding our seniors today, I’m blessed to have taken part once again. Thank you Andrew Bobbitt for assisting with getting donations to make this happen.

Dolly hosts events like this annually in remembrance of her Mother, she has the heart to give back and to help others, that’s one of the things I appreciate most about her.

Shout out to everyone who donated and participated, it was a wonderful time indeed. Thank you to DJ Eric Rainey for getting folks up and on the dance floor, it was an awesome sight to see and be a part of (I’m still sore, lol)

The street tree lighting on South Warren Street was awesome today, shout out to the Mayor and the Trenton Downtown Association on a job well done. Thanks to Boomer from the Trenton Thunder for stopping by as well; Assemblyman Anthony Verrelli, Councilwoman Jennifer Williams and I had a good time with everyone.

Next up, I swung by the Birthday celebration for Mercer County Executive, Dan Benson. It was a great time with a venue full of people to help celebrate his special day as well as his victory; Councilwoman Jenna L Figueroa Kettenburg and I had a blast!! ⭐️

Today’s Coffee with a Cop event was great and very well received and appreciated by our Civilian Police Academy Instructors and Crime Scene Investigators.

Thank you to our Downtown Starbucks for the great atmosphere and coffee and shout out to my PDK Soror Zenaida Sanchez for the awesome cookies, everyone was so pleased.

Thank you Amaris Jones, Bruce A Boyd Jr., Evonne Williams as well as other community members and patrons, for stopping by and spending time with us, I know time is precious and I value you setting some aside today to come by!

Thank you to my Council Colleagues, Councilwomen Jennifer Williams, Jasi Mikae Edwards and Yaz Gonzalez for stopping by and saluting the awesome Detectives and Officers, your presence was appreciated.
