With rain in the forecast this month, it's more important than ever to keep leaves and trash from washing down storm drains and into our lakes and streams. Before and after a rain, it's a "grate" time to give your storm drain some attention! Tip: Never remove the grate or try to clean inside the catch basin. Clean only the surface of the storm drain grate and the area around it. If the drain seems to be plugged, contact city staff and they will send workers to address the issue. Learn more and adopt a drain of your own: https://mn.adopt-a-drain.org/
