Incorporated in El Paso, Texas June 1988 as “Tapestries of Life Ministries” Incorporated in Chihuahua, MX, December 1993 as “Tapestries de Mexico, A.C.” TLM is an international Orphanage & Adoption Agency exclusively for charitable purposes. TLM is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) public ministry.

Mission: Thank you for taking these few moments to address the plight of homeless children. It is an overwhelming problem, which most of us are aware of, but few of us know how to solve. UNICEF has estimated some 10 million children live on the streets of Mexico’s cities. Ten thousand of those children exist on our own El Paso “doorstep” in Cd. Juarez. For twenty-seven years, Tapestries of Life (TLM) has been ministering to the needs of these destitute children. And while their need may always exceed the available help, we are committed to making a significant difference. We want to invite you to join us in making that difference. We are currently constructing an orphanage in Guadalupe, Chih., Mexico that, once opened, will be home to over 400 orphans and street children. The main dormitory, a two-storied 50,000 sq. ft. structure is in the final stages of completion-the roof is on, the windows are in, the tile is ready to be laid. Our immediate need is for the funding to finish this vital structure and begin construction on the cafeteria. We have all 60,000 square feet of tile ready to be laid, but still we have many more needs to be met before the children have the home that GOD has commissioned His people to build. We are challenging businesses, churches, and individuals to help us raise the $2,000,000 necessary to get this home completed, because the children can’t wait. They need this home today! As mentioned, we are inviting you to be a part of this vital, urgent ministry to the children of Mexico. As an international orphanage and adoption agency, we have an opportunity to change the direction of these children’s lives. Those who qualify for adoption will be placed in loving, Christian homes. Those who remain with us at the orphanage will be equally loved, educated, and cared for. Our commitment to the children is to provide them with a safe environment which prepares them for a happy, productive future.

TLM Community Outreach: Bathroom Remodel

With our last workgroup, we remodeled a bedroom into a full handicap accessible master bathroom for a humble man named Sergio, who is having knee surgery soon, and was no longer able to climb the stairs into his old bathroom. Wonderful blessed mercy day yesterday. 16 came to Christ and 10 or so others came forward for healing in their bodies or lives. The team was awesome and many went home with food. Blessed to be a blessing.

Hi Folks! My husband and I have been following this page since 2008. We had the opportunity to help at the orphanage back in 2010. I was given the job to make mosaic tiles for the thresholds on many of the doorways on the first floor. I chose phrases such as Love, Joy, Hope, etc... I spent hours laying out the broken pieces of tile to form words. I was so proud of my work and thought it looked beautiful. When the Foreman came around to Check my work, Quinn, Lisa Seaman, said, "oh my that looks Beautiful, but , could you spell it in Spanish, the children, can't read English". Oh Lord! I felt so stupid!!!! When I had to re-write the three letter word JOY, it was spelled Alegria in Spanish. Lord knows I felt a bit embarrassed🙃
