Juneau Central Committee Recap!
This weekend was the annual Alaska Democratic Party State Central Committee (SCC) meeting in Juneau. In addition to taking care of internal party business, including passing our annual budget, we endorsed Mary Peltola for U.S. Senate — and I was proud to second that endorsement! We also heard from all statewide candidates for Governor, and US House and members of the state legislature.
I also had the opportunity to provide the Interior Dems report. With strong municipal election results in recent years, including the election of Mayor’s Mindy O’Neall and Grier Hopkins we have strong momentum going into the 2026 election cycle.
The Juneau SCC Meeting is always a great opportunity for Democrats from around the state to come together to plan and prepare for the campaign season ahead. I look forward to working with this group of dedicated Alaskan’s and our broader community of volunteers and grass roots supporters to win up and down the ballot in 2026!
The next major Alaska Democratic Party event is our biennial convention in Cordova in April.
