Mission: To provide responsive, precise aerial refueling and operational support for the full range of military missions. Since 1942, the 92nd Air Refueling Wing has been a key part of our nation's defense strategy--from a WWII repair depot, to a Strategic Air Command bomber wing during the Cold War, to an Air Mobility Command air refueling wing during Operation Iraqi Freedom and beyond. Today, the wing's aircraft and personnel are the backbone of the Air Force's tanker fleet on the West Coast.
