Hi Everyone, just a reminder, when you register, you do not have to pick more than one workshop per session. When a class is full, it will no longer be available to choose. So one choice is good. Thanks!
Okay Friends... just a reminder, the link is live! You can see the flyer, and register for the workshops...email notices were also sent out Tuesday morning. Responses have started to come in, however all the Sessions are still open...and it's Early Bird! Centers with 8 or more can register as a group and save $10 per person. Individuals save $5.

Hi Everyone, when you register, you do not have to pick more than one workshop per session. I am trying to get the wording removed that asks you to do so. There is no way for me to differentiate between your first and second choice. When a class is full, it will no longer be available to choose. So one choice is good. Thanks!
Okay Friends...the link is live! You can see the flyer, and register for the workshops...email notices will be sent out early Monday morning, for folks who aren't following us on Facebook.

Through computers, smartphones, social media, and more,
technology is invading every area of our lives. Instead of
letting the technology have control, learn how to use it to
enhance your teaching! We’ll look at how you can use
technology to find new ideas and inspiration for teaching
and also ways you can use technology with your students
to inspire and explore. If you have a Wi-Fi-enabled device
(laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.), please bring it with you.

STEM in Early Childhood Education
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is a
hot buzzword, but what does it mean in the early childhood
classroom? This workshop will look at practical ways to
incorporate STEM into your teaching and give you a better
grounding in what it looks like in early childhood. We will
spend time thinking about what STEM means to young
children and what skills can help support their development.
We will also look at how to set up STEM explorations
in your classroom and ways to fold these concepts into the
rest of your curriculum. The focus will be on creating
strategies that you can implement immediately, with
resources that are on hand or easily obtained. Presented

A brand new workshop from one of our favorites...Lori Carver-Johnson
“My Teacher Doesn’t Like Me”
____________________________________________________
Do you have a student who believes this? Is it a reflection of your behavior? As the teacher, what part of a child’s well-being are you responsible for? Are you aware of any biases (positive or negative) that may be triggering your own personal behavior and how you react to the children you teach? How can you develop strategies to improve the experience for both you and the child? Let’s take a journey together and discuss the role you play in creating emotional, social and behavioral well-being for both yourself and your students. Presented by Lori Carver-Johnson, M.A., PCC, BCC Pathfinders, Inc. Life Coaching, Board Certified Personal Life Coach, Mental Health Therapist
It's a couple of weeks until our complete brochure comes out. Here is another preview of our great offerings... this one is new to our program and it's from one of our favorites - Renee Edwards. It is only being offered during our first session at 8:00 am
Ready Readers: Books and Activities to Help Children Hear Sounds in Words
Children's ability to hear sounds begins to develop during the preschool years. When children understand and can identify rhyming words, beginning sounds and syllables, they are ready to learn how to read. This training will show how to help preschool children (ages 3-5) learn these skills through library books and enjoyable activities.
We've had a good response to our addition of Concious Discipline to the Professional Development Day Line up. Mandy Lloyd will present three(!) workshops...here is the description of the first one...
