2020 National Postal Forum Cancelled
As you know, the National Postal Forum (NPF) and the United States Postal Service (USPS) leadership have been closely monitoring the situation related to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) over the past several weeks with the health and safety of our employees and attendees as the priority. We have been taking our guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and public health departments. The CDC issued the following statement on Sunday, March 15th – “Therefore, CDC, in accordance with its guidance for large events and mass gatherings, recommends that for the next 8 weeks, organizers (whether groups or individuals) cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States.”
As a result of this guidance and out of an abundance of caution, we are cancelling the 2020 National Postal Forum.
Thank you to the NPF and USPS community, partners, exhibitors, vendors, and volunteers who have dedicated so much time and work into preparing this meeting. We share everyone’s disappointment in its cancellation.
Information regarding the cancellation of your registration, exhibit space, sponsorships and advertising will be forthcoming.
This unprecedented action has resulted in a few logistical items, which are outstanding and will be resolved. We ask for your understanding and patience. We will provide these updates with additional details in the coming weeks.

Only 44% of people can recall a brand immediately after seeing a digital ad compared to 75% of people who receive direct mail. (Marketing Profs) In addition to higher open rates, direct mail also leaves a better impression on consumers. According to Marketing Profs’ direct mail statistics, three-quarters of consumers are able to recall a brand after receiving a piece of direct mail. On the other hand, just 44% can do the same after seeing a digital ad.

The office of the Postmaster General, in one form or another, is older than both the United States Constitution and the United States Declaration of Independence. Benjamin Franklin was appointed by the Continental Congress as the first postmaster general in 1775 serving just over 15 months.
