COBRA SOFTWARE ENHANCING COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION ACROSS EMERGENCY RESPONSE AGENCIES GLOBALLY

Any emergency responder knows that their work continues even in the absence of an emergency and that the best plans come through refinement. It’s this kind of proactive work that truly decides the victors in a disaster scenario, no matter the situation. Whether it be a hazardous materials spill, a bomb threat, or an active shooter scenario, the plans made yesterday can help mitigate the crises of today.

In the picture attached, various Belgian First Responders are depicted viewing the country’s Incident Command Management System (ICMS), a national software system, supported by Dynamis’ COBRA™ technology. The first responders are demonstrating the capabilities of the system for response and collaboration.

COBRA – aside from serving as a tool for responders working in active emergency situations – makes it simple for professionals in the emergency response industry to confer among themselves to determine the best course of action. In the image, we see a map projected onto a smartboard. The man on the right is speaking and gesturing toward this map, signifying its importance as a piece of intelligence. The map – displayed using COBRA mapping software – enhances visualization. The image also shows the collaboration between directors, police, and emergency responders, showing that the tool is more than a hazardous materials identification tool. It is a tool for all emergency professionals, giving them the crucial information they need to save lives and avert tragedy.

The image represents the critical work of people all over the globe who require a program that will supplement the needs of an evolving world that will present unique challenges every single day. The question of what program to use in fulfilling this task is also answered by the same image. COBRA is the premier tool for emergency professionals.

Valued Customers, Partners & Friends,

2016 was an exciting year for Dynamis. One of the biggest highlights was the acquisition of the COBRA emergency and security management software suite in April. The acquisition has allowed Dynamis to grow both domestically and internationally, and to continue delivering practical technology solutions to the federal government and to our commercial customers. By combining the COBRA software with Dynamis’ wide range of analytic support expertise, Dynamis has been better able to serve our emergency management customers.

Notably in 2016, Dynamis’s COBRA solution provided innovative security and emergency response software to Rio officials for the 2016 Olympics and the COBRA suite was also chosen by the Belgian Interior Ministry for the development of a custom, nation-wide information system for cooperation in disasters.

We look forward to all of the opportunities 2017 has to offer. At this joyous time of year, we are grateful for all of our customers and partners. We wish you abundance, happiness, and peace in a new year filled with hope.

Happy holidays from everyone at Dynamis!

Exciting news! COBRA's Belgium deployment of the Incident and Crisis Management System (ICMS) is being briefed out to Emergency Managers this month, province by province. The pictures below are from the Day 1 briefings, that were held at the Provincial Palace in Liège Province. The attendees included local (city) and provincial emergency planners, senior police commanders, fire brigade officers, mayors, representatives of high risk (chemical) industry. These are the leaders of organizations that will begin using the ICMS system in October.

The roadshow will last 11 days, during which, all of Belgium’s 11 provincial capitals will receive the briefing.

Through 2016, ICMS will arise as a national security network that will allow users to draw up contingency plans and work together during an emergency through various media and platforms, including the sharing of maps, combined logs, tracking the deployment of the emergency services and resources and more. In later phases, this network will be expanded to also connect utilities, ports, high-risk companies, hospitals and other organizations.

COBRA Software Overview

The primary mission of any emergency management team is to ensure a shared vision for response partners in the event of an unexpected incident, including but not limited to natural, technical, and even man-made crises. Importantly, the information technology that supports the emergency management operations must support and not impede the mission. This requires a software solution that facilitates collaboration, blends seamlessly into the existing operations, and adapts to evolving needs. Dynamis’ COBRA Emergency Management software is that solution.

COBRA is a turn-key commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution designed to work on any modern web browser, including mobile-friendly formats for Microsoft, iOS, and Android mobile devices. Dynamis, Inc. stands ready to provide your agency with a proven, scalable Incident Management Software solution that meets and exceeds your requirements

Designed to support disaster and special event management, daily operations

COBRA is a cloud based, COTS suite of digital tools designed to support daily facility operations as well as manage special events, emergencies, and disasters without requiring ongoing customization. It provides a distributed collaboration environment including resource tracking, activity logs, chat rooms, interactive maps, and multiple other tools and resources that can be shared by users at the local, regional, and headquarters level.

COBRA provides emergency managers, safety and security teams, and support staff and volunteers the capability to post and share information about an incident or event and the associated impacts to the facility, critical infrastructure, and the surrounding environment. This supports management, response, and recovery operations by capturing real-time information on the situation and facilitates seamless information sharing with the appropriate authorities on current activities and the anticipated actions needed to effectively manage the situation.

The COBRA solution is designed for use in the field through mobile devices as well as in office settings such as an emergency operations center.
