Butler County Coalition for Healthy, Safe and Drug-free Communities The Butler County Coalition is working to make Butler County, Ohio safer, healthier and drug-free.

Community coalitions are comprised of parents, teachers, law enforcement, businesses, religious leaders, health providers and other community activists who are mobilizing at the local level and nationally under the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America umbrella to make their communities safer, healthier and drug-free.

Mission: The mission of the Butler County Coalition is to reduce alcohol and other drug use by youth and adults over time through collaboration, education and policy-change.

New research reveals that nine laws designed to reduce underage drinking have been instrumental in saving more than 1,100 lives each year in the states that have adopted them, and that an additional 210 lives could be saved annually if they were adopted in every state, Medical News Today reports.
