Although I did not win this election, I still consider this journey one of the greatest honors of my life.
To everyone who supported me, encouraged me, volunteered, donated, prayed for me, shared a post, had a conversation with me, or trusted me with your vote, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This campaign was never just about politics for me. It was about people. It was about making sure the voices of District 55 were heard and reminding our communities that they matter. Every door knocked, every conversation had, every event attended, and every word of encouragement meant more to me than you know.
While this was not the outcome we hoped for, I am still incredibly proud of what we built together. We showed up with heart, compassion, determination, and a genuine love for our communities. I met so many amazing people throughout this journey, and I will forever be grateful for the connections, lessons, and experiences this campaign gave me.
Please know this. My commitment to serving and uplifting our community does not end here. I will continue being present, listening, learning, and working for the people around me because service is bigger than a title.
Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for walking this journey with me. And thank you for reminding me every day why community matters.
No matter what, I will always believe that when we stand together and support one another, we all win.
