Fairland Senior Center is a wonderful place to gather for food and fellowship. Meals served Monday,
Monday, Wednesday and Friday gathering place for food and fellowship. We also play game, take trips and work on hobbies and crafts like quilting.

Friday Pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausages, scrambled eggs and coffee cake.
I am not able to present book review this Wednesday. Next month on 04-19-2023 we will have THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY by Matt Haig or THE BOOK OF COLD CASES by Simone St. James. If anyone else would like to present a 20 minute book review tomorrow in my place, please do not hesitate to do so. Thank you.

THE SPOOK LIGHT. Obviously, I am a newcomer to this area (only here 17 years) because someone mentioned the Spook Light at the center and I didn't know what it was. Google this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Spooklight. Now I want to go try to see it. Have you ever seen The Spook Light?

Wednesday was a double book review. Instead of only THE LINCOLN HIGHWAY we looked at Karen Turner's daughter, Dawn Hill (illustrator) and granddaughter Addie Jarret (author) book CREATED TO SHINE. We are all proud of Karen's talented family. These great books are available through Karen for a reasonable price and she can get them autographed for you.

Our Fairland Senior Center has a list of names and numbers for persons who wish to be called each Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. We are finding out if they want a meal delivered or that they wish to pick up a meal. Message us on this page if you would like to be added to the list. Your phone number will not show in the message group but it would show up in the comments so use the message. Meanwhile if you want to dine in, just how up around 11:30 for a delicious meal prepared by our fantastic cooks.
