There will be no trash pickup on Monday February 15th as our offices will be closed for Presidents Day. Trash will instead be picked up Tuesday February 16th.

With the extreme cold weather moving in🥶, starting today at 4pm until the cold front moves out, the Community Center will be open as a 24/7 Heating Center for those experiencing problems with heating. As always, please wear a mask😷 and stay safe out there.

Another round of light wintry precipitation is expected today. Snow currently in northeast Missouri and west-central Illinois is forecast to become more widespread late this morning. The light snow may mix in with freezing drizzle this afternoon across portions of the area. Freezing drizzle is favored this evening mainly across southeast Missouri and southwest Illinois. If traveling today, be aware of your local road conditions and slow down if wintry precipitation is occurring in your area!

What an honor to have the COVID Vaccine here in our Village today!
The smiles, gratitude and the Thanks from all the residents is why we work so hard to get things done for our residents. Nothing better than helping and making sure our residents are being taken care of.

Appointments are going very smooth with not much waiting time. We hope to have a another date for those waiting on the next round soon.

Thank you again to Eastside health district, Illinois Department of Health, Illinois emergency management agency, and National Guard for making this possible and our Mayor Michael Suarez and the Board of Trustees for working with all the agencies to make this happen!

IDPH announced Region 4 (which includes St Clair County) is moving to Phase 4 effective today. This allows bars and restaurants to reopen to indoor dining along with loosening of restrictions in other businesses. A copy of the press release along with a summary of changes is included below
