What a great weekend at Hartsel Days! Thanks Consuelo Redhorse for joining us and bringing great energy to the parade and conversations with neighbors and visitors!
It was wonderful to meet and feel the support from so many neighbors, learn how our issues are impacting you, and hearing your ideas on what you’d like from our county commissioners.
Kudos to the wonderful vendors - 70 this year!! Thank you to all the sponsors, the Hartsel Fire Department and volunteers for a wonderful event!

An incredible B***o Days in the books! Thanks to all who came out to cheer on our racers, support our businesses and vendors and generally have a great time!!
The days are long, hot and sometimes a little damp, but I get energized by talking to folks - neighbors, visitors, businesses, and draw so much inspiration and learn so many insights as to what we can do to make our county and communities stronger. Tighter. Successful and fun.
These are the days that show what we can do together, and how much fun we can have while doing it!
Thanks for taking the time to chat, listen and learn more about our county government a d what we can do to bring the future we want.
Thank you Louise Peterson and Chris for bring our Hope and Lefty, who did so well! Thanks to everyone who marched and supported us and to all our fantastic neighbors who gave us their time and cheers of support - truly an inspiring weekend!❤️🫏🫏🫏🫏

BIG B***o Days weekend in Fairplay! Starting this evening with Hazel Miller performing, and all weekend at the Park Dems tent, and please join us marching in the parade on Sunday! Meet up Sunday at 10:30-11am on 4th & Hathaway - always a fun time and a great opportunity to show folks they are NOT alone!

And away we GO! It begins!
Thank you to all who voted, the candidates who’ve stepped up to run for office, and congratulations to those who made it through our grueling process to get to November!
I’m thrilled how it has turned out for Park County. I am filled with joy at the prospect of either Tyrene Cook or myself as the next Commissioner for District 3, and want to offer her my deepest congratulations, respect, and a big virtual hug as we begin our contest.
Together, we can show that here, politics can bring us closer for our people, families, businesses and the future of our county, for real community opportunity and success, regardless of the winner.
I am committed to Park County. To each of you.
I know Tyrene is too.
I think we are both looking forward to an informative, constructive and fun campaign, comparing, contrasting, sharing and building on our experience, ideas and perspectives so we all can help get our county and board on the right track.
This gonna be FUN! LFG!

Primary Day!!
Drop off your ballot or VOTE in-person today in Fairplay or Shawnee by 7pm!
So many elections are determined in the primary - locally, and statewide.
Your vote is your voice, however you’re motivated to influence a primary, as a spoiler, moderator or activist, your primary vote is yours to exercise.
A lot of people are hoping you don’t. They are more than happy to have their voices count instead of yours. Please vote! Today!
And THANK YOU to all those running and who’ve already voted - especially in our local races!
I can’t wait to hear what you all have to say at the ballot box!

Regular and large-size (36” wide) yard signs now available!
