Of course, Katie voted for it.

Look what the democrats passed in the middle of the night with no republican votes. It’s Halloween and the Illinois Democrats made it extra scary for taxpayers! Here are just some of the tax increases and other bad things.

$0.45 toll hike, with an automatic 4% increase every single year.

$0.25 sales tax hike for McHenry and Kane Counties.

$500 million raid every year from the Downstate Road Program all to bail out Chicago’s mass transit system.

They even made sure Chicago riders can’t have their fares increased, but somehow illegal immigrants can ride for free because you no longer need a Social Security number to qualify for free bus service.

Downstate used to get 55% for roads and Chicago got 45%. The Dems now hanged that to Chicago 85% and 15% for us. How can any of the democratic representatives in our area vote for that? You really need to ask them!

The cost of this Chicago bailout? $1.8 billion a year.

And right after that, they pushed through an $8 billion “energy bill” that will do nothing to lower your energy bills for years if ever.

I voted HELL NO.

Here's the next reason why Illinoisans pay the nation's highest property tax rate: too many units of overlapping, duplicative governments.

In fact, at 7K units, we have the most in the country. Full of admins.

Vote Ted For Illinois to cut the fat.

This is exciting! Time to get to work on replacing Katie.

I’m running for State Representative because you deserve someone tough with compassion on your side. I’ll stand up for you when others don’t. I won’t take any crap when it comes to standing up for you and delivering results. Our state is broken because politicians in Springfield care more about themselves than the people they’re supposed to serve, and we are all paying the price with a higher cost of living as prices for energy, gas, groceries, and healthcare have become unaffordable for working families.
