Sound Bath Fundraiser in support of ALS San Diego

Join us for an immersive, heart-centered sound journey featuring crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, rainsticks, and more. As the healing sounds and vibrations wash over you, you’ll be invited into deep relaxation, helping quiet the mind and restore a sense of balance, peace, and connection.

Eye masks, bolsters, blankets, and blocks will be provided. Just bring your yoga mat and anything else that will help you feel comfortable.

All proceeds benefit ALS San Diego in memory of Aaron Friedman. ALS San Diego provides free support services and advocacy for individuals and families affected my ALS.

About Facilitators

Lee Beckler is a retired U.S. Marine and trauma- informed yoga teacher who creates supportlive spaces for healing through yoga and sound.

Lisa Friedman is a certified Reiki Master, yoga instructor, and sound Immersion Therapist dedicated to helping others restore energetic balance and emotional well- being.

Crews are working to contain a brush fire burning alongside Interstate 15 in Thursday afternoon.

First responders were dispatched just after 1:15 p.m. to a vehicle fire on the right shoulder of northbound I-15 near Mission Road. The flames quickly spread from the vehicle to nearby vegetation and have now burned about a half-acre of brush.

As of 1:45 p.m., the fire is burning at a moderate rate of spread. Traffic in both directions of I-15 is impacted as crews work to contain the flames. No injuries or structural damage have been reported.
