💙 From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! 💙

Everyone who showed up today, stood at that microphone, and everyone who sat down, typed out an email, and sent in their written comment, thank you. Every single word mattered.

This is what community looks like. This is what it means to be neighbors.

We don't always agree on everything, but today proved that we all care deeply about this place we call home. We showed up for each other. We showed up for the families on our streets, the kids in our schools, and the generations who will come after us.

We are not just residents. We are a community. We stand together. 🤝

Thank you for using your voice. Thank you for giving your time. And thank you for reminding all of us why this community is worth fighting for. 💪

It was a beautiful day to get out and express our sentiments. It was not too hot from 10AM - 11AM. It seems like we got more waves than usual while some of the counter sentiments were expressed vigorously. The big-rig honks are always fun. Come join us even if you can't stay the whole hour. We have a selection of signs you can hold while you're here.

Another way to celebrate June 14th, is to participate in the 90-minute concert in New York City, the “Rise Up, Sing Out” concert to take place at The Town Hall in midtown Manhattan and is scheduled to feature performances and appearances by singers Sasha Allen, Bette Midler, Patti Smith and Rufus Wainwright, along with actor Jane Fonda and liberal commentator Joy Reid."
The Committee for the First Amendment, is sponsoring the concert. The “No Kings” movement is also holding 18 watch parties in 11 different states or you can go to the following link and register to join and watch from home or with friends. STOP THE DATA CENTER POWER GRAB, IT'S STILL OUR BACKYARD
These mega data centers aren't for your phone they're being built to fuel AI, and they need massive amounts of OUR power and water to do it. In Texas, neighbors near these facilities saw power bills triple and dealt with nonstop noise affecting their health and livestock.
Who profits? Not us. Fewer than 100 permanent jobs, most not even high-paying while corporations take our water and power.
Doesn't matter if it's not built next to your house — if our power and water get diverted, EVERYONE'S bills go up and our farmers suffer. Show up. Speak up. 🗣️

Hey neighbors, I need your attention for something really important happening right now in our town. 👇

Data centers have become one of the most debated and divisive issues across communities nationwide, and now the conversation has come to US. Our town is actively discussing whether to allow a data center to be built here, and this decision will affect every single one of us.

We have serious concerns from skyrocketing energy and water demands, to noise, traffic, and the kind of community we want to live in. This isn't what we envisioned for our town.

There is a public meeting coming up and I'm asking you, PLEASE show up. Come ready to share your thoughts and stand with your neighbors against this. Our leaders need to hear from real residents, not just developers.

I'll be posting meeting details as soon as they're confirmed. Please share this post and help spread the word — the more voices we have, the stronger we are.

Happy June and election day, Tuesday June 9th! If you haven't voted yet, Polls open at
7:00am and close at 7:00 pm. There are two Polling Places on election day:

Fallon Convention Center, 100 Campus Way, Fallon NV

Fallon Paiute Shoshone Community Learning Center, 89554 Mission RD, Fallon NV (you do not need to be a member of the tribe to vote at this polling place).

📣ALERT📣 Because it is election day we will NOT be holding a Tyranny Tuesday protest this Tuesday. We will see you Tuesday, June 16th at 10:00 - 11:00 at Millenium Park. We need to recruit more people to join us - numbers matter and will make a difference, so please join us!

There has been a lot of confusion about a June 14th Indivisible Protest. Indivisible National is not promoting a nationwide protest but is supporting the following concert sponsored by the Committee for the First Amendment, this advocacy based group was started by Jane Fonda.

Cathy M, one of our team members regularly attends Indivisible zoom meetings with the founders Ezra Levin and his wife Leah GreenBerg. They have put out a scam alert that people are sending out texts and emails representing themselves as Indivisible asking for money to support the June 14th event. This is a scam, do not send money.

Hoping you'll join us tomorrow for our weekly Tyranny Tuesday protest from 10:00am to 11:00am. There were lots of thumbs up last week, it was cold and windy but people are seeing our efforts and positively responding. Please join us.... let's show the people of Fallon that there is another way and a better direction for our country, one that doesn't leave us with skyrocketing prices at the grocery store and trillions more added to the national debt!
Also, don't forget to Vote! You can vote early now, or on Election Day on June 9th.
