American Muslims for Palestine would like to congratulate Dr. Rabab Abdulhadi for receiving the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) award as an Outstanding Faculty Activist despite all the push back from Zionist organizations. To quote the award itself, "Rabab Abdulhadi exemplifies courage, persistence, political foresight, and concern for human rights. As a director of the Arab and Muslim Ethnicities and Diasporas Studies Program, she brings together all walks of academia to create justice-centered knowledge, create coalitions, and advance the agenda for social change in Palestine, the United States, and internationally." American Muslims for Palestine

🌙 It was on this “Night of Power,” or Laylat al-Qadr, that the Almighty sent the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet (PBUH), and commanded him to “Read!” Indeed, reading, seeking knowledge, and raising awareness is a guiding principle in Islam and, in the same way, guides our work for justice in Palestine. Prejudice, hatred, and oppression are grounded in ignorance. Knowledge and awareness are the antidotes.

Knowledge and awareness, however, can have no impact if there is no work and effort behind them. We hope as part of your worship in this blessed night, especially as you reflect on the meaning of iqra’ (read), that you will continue to partner with us in our achievements, and more importantly, share with us in the blessings of this work.

🌙 Make the night of power a night for Palestine 🇵🇸 and donate here tonight.

🌙 "As this blessed month relaunched hope for humanity, our work for Palestine is achieving major strides and fulfilling a potential that we collectively have." ~Dr. Osama Abuirshaid, AMP Executive Director.

AMP Ramadan Fundraising Appeal

🕌 The blessed last ten nights of the month of Ramadan remind us of two main pillars in proclaiming the message of Islam in which they emanated within. In fact, they are the same two major pillars that serve as the foundation for propagating any message, i.e. knowledge and advocacy.

AMP’s work embodies both pillars. We firmly believe that this is a proven recipe for success and we kindly ask you to continue your generous support of our work so we can serve the just cause of Palestine more effectively.
