Congratulations to 4B000 CY18E9 Chief Master Sergeants!!! A great big HUGE applause on your selection for promotion to the rank of CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT! Special thanks goes to your family and unit leaders, supervisors/co-workers, and mentors who have supported your efforts and challenged you for development over the years. So happy for our community and our USAF!

General information

The Bioenvironmental Engineering (BE) career field is one of eight specialties serving in the Aerospace Medicine Enterprise (AME) and delivering the four effects-based mission areas. As an AFMS enabling capability, the AME ensures expertise is provided to establish and maintain pertinent, mission orientated education programs and provides a full range of consultation services in support of the four desired effects: promote and sustain a healthy and fit force, prevent illness and injury, restore health, and optimize and sustain human performance. BE capabilities support AF and AFMS desired effects relative to occupational and environmental health (OEH) threats spanning the full spectrum from deliberate to crisis responses.

I was in the Bioenvironmental Engineering field 1976-1992 and was in this EHS class 5ABY90730 with a 17Sep76 graduation date. Back then it was just EHS, FSO and maybe one more AFSC at Brooks. I don't remember. BAFB is in no longer our anchor. It was a nice sleepy hollow and will be missed. Wight-Patterson is a busy place with to much going on. Brooks was mostly the School of Aerospace Medicine and it was the bomb. Summer in San Antonio was hot and humid but no snow. WP recommend bring a shovel. Let play find Waldo but in this case it's find Netto. Hint: I have a part in the picture from my school.
