As we celebrate 250 years of the United States of America, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and vision of the patriots who founded our nation in 1776. Built on the principles of liberty, individual responsibility, faith, and self-government, America has overcome challenges, defended freedom, and provided opportunities unlike any other nation in history.

For two and a half centuries, generations of Americans have worked, served, and sacrificed to preserve the blessings of freedom for their children and grandchildren. As we reflect on our past, we should also look to the future with gratitude, pride, and a renewed commitment to the values that have made our nation strong.

May we never take for granted the freedoms we enjoy, and may we continue to work together to ensure that the American Dream remains alive for generations to come.

Happy 250th Birthday, America!

Falmouth deserves leadership that listens to the people, supports our first responders, and respects taxpayer dollars.

I’ve spent years serving this community as a firefighter and I’m ready to continue serving as your voice on City Council.

Together we can keep Falmouth safe, strong, and moving forward without unnecessary taxes and spending as I believe in full and complete transparency.

I’d appreciate your support and your vote.

Good afternoon, everyone.

I’d like to do something a little out of the ordinary for myself and make a somewhat lengthy post.

Hello, my name is Stephen "Red" Gales Jr., and I’m running for City Council here in Falmouth, Kentucky. I currently serve on the City Council and have been doing so since last year.

I have lived in Falmouth since 2007, when I was in middle school. Now, as a husband and father, I would love to see our city flourish and become the best place it can be. I would love to see our roads milled and paved, more sidewalks constructed, and more community events that promote tourism and bring people together.

These are just a few of the things I would like to see accomplished, and that list continues to grow as I speak with more of you.

None of this comes cheap, and I understand that. It takes fiscal responsibility and careful planning. I do not want to burden our citizens and businesses with excessive taxes. Yes, the cost of living continues to rise, and nothing comes free. However, I want people to feel that their tax dollars are working for them and making a positive difference in our community.

I am always open to different perspectives and ideas, so please feel free to reach out with your questions, comments, and concerns. There is much more to come, and I will continue to share my thoughts and plans in future posts.

Today, I simply wanted to introduce myself and ask for your vote on November 3rd. With your help, we can make meaningful changes that produce real results for Falmouth.

Thank you for your support.
