This is such an important topic to consider for parents. Talking with your kids about not consuming products that they don't know where they came from. I brought up this topic during our annual safety review at our Board Meeting on 5/26. Currently FPS uses v**e detectors in all our secondary buildings but this is a new threat and at these levels the intention to harm is evident.

It was a huge honor to be able to show Governor Armstrong, 1st lady Armstrong and Lt Governor Strinden all the amazing work FPS gets to do at the Explorer Academy. As part of my work on the school board we are assigned liaison schools each year. This year I get to have Explorer Academy. This facility was built with intention and it serves us well but more importantly it is the staff that works within these walls that really make the difference for our kids. Every time I visit I learn something new, but the best part is the kids. While touring with the Governor one of the kids came out and recognized Kelly and said hey "I have seen you on my mom's TV. I can't believe you are here."
