👏 Last week's Metrocrest Community Job Fair, in partnership with the Carrollton, TX - City Government and Carrollton Public Library, brought together 212 job seekers and employers for a day of networking, new opportunities, and meaningful connections.

Last Thursday, we gathered together for the inaugural Raising Spirits: Bourbon & BBQ, and what an incredible evening it was.

Guests enjoyed great food, bourbon tastings, and meaningful conversations, but the heart of the event was our five Mission Moments. These behind-the-scenes experiences gave supporters a closer look at how Metrocrest Services is walking alongside neighbors through a whole-household approach, helping individuals and families set goals, overcome barriers, and build brighter futures.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, sponsored, and helped make this first event such a success. We're already looking forward to next year!

Our Food Pantry is running very low on the plastic bags neighbors use to carry home their groceries.

Have extra clean, usable grocery bags at home? We'd love to put them to good use helping neighbors carry home the groceries they need.

At Saturday's Community Showcase, we welcomed more than 250 attendees and saw an incredible impact:

- 9 blood donations
- 22 screenings provided by Baylor Scott & White
- 53 flu shots administered by Parkland Health
- 30+ resources on-site
- 16 additional screenings provided by Parkland Health
