A healthy mouth means a healthy body. Sore or bleeding gums, bad breath, aching teeth – all of these symptoms can affect your health and the way you feel. Mouth pain – especially if it’s ignored – can lead to loss of teeth, sinus infection, ear ache, and even heart problems. Baby teeth are just as important as adult teeth. Some people believe that if children have cavities it’s OK to ignore them – they’ll soon fall out. Keeping the gums healthy will help keep adult teeth health, too. So, it’s important to bring your child to the dentist as soon as his teeth appear. Your child will know that the dentist is there to help and not a place to visit when he’s in pain. Going to the dentist every six months is important. Don’t wait for a problem to happen. By going every six months, your mouth will stay clean and healthy. A cleaning and check-up can help prevent future dental problems. Your dental insurance can help you and your children make dental appointments. We can call a dentist that is close to your home and arrange a good time for you to go. We can even arrange for transportation to and from your home. We can help you with dental specialists for you and your children. If you have a child with special needs or medical difficulties, we can find the dentist with a caring, gentle touch. We can also help you with a referral to a dental specialist if you need an extraction or other services. We are here Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5 PM for your dental needs. And we’re toll free 855-CT DENTAL or 855-283-3682.
