There will be a statewide public warning system drill on April 2nd from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Everyone in Parmer County will receive an alert on your cell phone. It will possibly be similar to an Amber Alert. It is a test only.

There has been a red flag warning issued for tomorrow. Drive careful if you have to get out.

With the expected winter weather this weekend, there are temporary warming stations in the county. The warming stations will be at the Parmer County Sheriffโ€™s Office and the Friona Police Department.
Everyone please use caution as you travel.
