Dear friends and neighbors,
​I feel the need to inform you that due to some issues with the exact location of my address, the elections office initially placed me in District 50. However, I fall in District 45. After taking an appropriate amount of time to correct the proper paperwork, I have shifted my campaign to a write-in candidacy for District 45.
​I do realize this makes my run a bit more complicated, but I started this campaign with the goal of making West Virginia a better place. That's putting an end to the corruption, to make it mandatory for transparency, to give local autonomy so you all have a choice and we can make our own decisions, to clean up our neighborhoods, and give us all a chance to actually find somewhere to live that we can afford, and not something that's falling apart, and give our young people a reason to stay home.
​I have not given up on this campaign, nor any future campaign that I do prospect, and I have not given up on you, nor the state. No matter what, come November 3rd, I will be there. And if you fall in District 45, you may go to the old bank, or wherever your polling place is, and write my name down, Christopher Ratliff.
​I am here for you, the people of District 45, and the people of District 50, and the rest of the state, because I have not forgotten about any of us. I don't want to be a placeholder. I don't want to be here for just a part-time job. I want to be here to pour my heart and my soul out for you all, and with every fiber of my being, do what I can for you.

​I wanted to reach out and let everyone know that even though our general election for this year has seen a lot of problems, I want you to know that you still have a choice. I am here, and I want to see you prosper and our communities get the attention they deserve. I am Christopher Ratliff, and I am your true representation—not the party machine.
​All of you are my party: the people of District 50. I don't need another. The only line or views I want to take to the House are yours, and I ask that you give me a chance to prove it.
​I will definitely understand if you don't want to show up to the polls in November—we have all been deceived too many times to trust the process. But if you go, remember me. Hey everybody,
​I wanted to reach out to anyone who hasn't had a chance to stop by the New River Convention Center yet. I'm still here and actively gathering signatures for my petition to get onto the ballot.
​This coming Tuesday will be the last Tuesday I'll be collecting petition signatures at the convention center before my August 3rd deadline, so any last-minute signatures would be greatly appreciated! If you can't make it out to the New River Convention Center before then, just send us a message here on Facebook, and I'll gladly come to you.
​After Tuesday, I will still be at the New River Convention Center campaigning—however, it will be focused on running as a write-in candidate.
