Ferndale Police Association

Ferndale Police Association The FPA donates our resources to support local charities such as volunteer programs, youth events, and emergency responders and their families in crisis.

In 2011, members of the Ferndale, Washington, Police Department volunteered to help with Whatcom County Fire District's Tunnel to Towers 5K race. Being part of this event that brought so many members of the community together in a common cause started us thinking about how we might use our resources to go above and beyond our day jobs to help those who need it the most. Funds that we have raised s

o far through our involvement and hosting of these yearly races have gone toward the Chief for a Day program, Matt Hertzog Memorial, Ferndale Star Park, Make a Wish Program,
9-1-1 Food Bank and School Supply drives, and more! In 2014 we formed our own Association and now hold a 501(c)(10) tax exempt status, so any donation you make is tax deductible - so please give generously to help support our cause!

General information

Our 2017 5k race and 2 mile walk was a great success, as we teamed up with the Whatcom Old Settlers and held it as part of the Old Settlers Pioneer Days Picnic in July. The proceeds helped us in donating over $2100 to various charities! We will be holding our 2018 race on July 28th and you can register at https://tinyurl.com/y9obz6a9 . Check our website for further details on how to take part. www.ferndalepoliceassociation.org .
