Best For Vets is a Non-Profit Organization that helps American Veterans with educational, employment, clothing and housing resources. MISSION:
Our mission is to provide U.S Military Veterans with counseling, educational and vocational training, job placement, and information on state and federal veteran benefits, in addition to helping veterans secure and maintain clean, safe and affordable housing.

VISION: Best For Vets vows to fight for those who have fought for America; we will use our media outlets as well as our relationships with city, state and federal government officials in order to serve as a liaison between veterans and government in an effort to mediate the best possible solutions for the issues of veterans. ACTION: We will hold monthly meetings at 2727 Second, Detroit, MI 48201 on each 1st Friday of the month from 6PM to 8pm. Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend classes on the benefits that are available to them through the Veteran Affairs Administration, take part in group counseling and sign up for the many educational and vocational resources through our partnership with various community programs. Veterans will also be able to get information on how to qualify for affordable housing, learn how to properly file claims to the Veteran Affairs Administration and be able to talk out issues with other veterans who share similar experiences and stories.

Early this morning more than 650 All American Paratroopers and equipment began deployment to the U.S. Central Command area of operations.
Paratroopers from 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division were activated and deployed in response to the increased threat levels against U.S. personnel and facilities.
The remainder of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, the BCT currently assigned the IRF mission, and elements of the 82nd Airborne Division remain postured and ready to deploy in support of the National Command Authority.
This is why we exist. Your Paratroopers have trained and prepared for events like these since their arrival to the All American Division, and they are trained and ready to answer the nation's call.

Project Peace Peddlers was operating out of Detroit’s 9th Precinct located on Gunston and Gratiot. We conducted peaceful bike patrols taking time to talk to people while stopping at stores and gas stations covering a 10 square mile area from Gunston and Gratiot to 8 Mile and Kelly.
