CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SOROR SEMAJ BROWN, FLINT’S FIRST POET LAUREATE!! 💙🤍💙🤍

The prestigious Academy of American Poets, New York, New York, the preeminent 80-year literary poetry institution has named Soror Semaj Brown as one among its 23 fellows who will lead public poetry programs in their respective communities throughout the United States, in the following year.

This is a national honor for Flint, and for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated as Zeta Beta Zeta Chapter is designated via Zeta Foundation as the official Commnity Partners for the following year. The Zeta Foundation will receive a significant monetary award to assist Soror Brown throughout the year to achieve the goals of poet laureate programming.

Let’s congratulate Soror Semaj Brown on a job well done! 💙
